About The Business Women’s Forum

The Business Women’s Forum (BWF) is the largest and longest running full-day annual conference for women in Connecticut. This exciting event showcases nationally known speakers and trainers who educate and inspire attendees both personally and professionally.

In addition to providing attendees’ access to phenomenal speakers, networking opportunities and diverse training, the Forum has supplied in excess of $140,000 in scholarships to college students pursuing a business education.

Prominent keynote speakers throughout our long history include Suze Orman, Robin Roberts, Paula Abdul, Jane Seymour, Goldie Hawn, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Along with two keynote addresses, workshops are offered throughout the day. Workshop topics for this year‘s conference include leadership, social media marketing, communication, transition skills, entrepreneurship, women’s health and more.

Join us for the 2011 Business Women's Forum, Connecticut’s largest and longest-running full-day annual conference for women, featuring TV actress, Susan Saint James; Special Olympics Hall of Famer, Loretta Claiborne; and TV/radio personality, comedienne and author of “10 Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd," Connie Podesta.

“Power, Passion, Purpose” is the theme of the 29th annual Post University scholarship fundraising event sponsored by the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The BWF will be held from 8am to 5pm the Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, CT.
